Our History
Patrick Dorow has always had a vision to produce amazing music, musical theatre, and events in the seacoast region. Patrick’s passion for producing was ignited at the age of 16 when he formed his own choir and concerts at Portsmouth High School with his “4 the fun of it” choir and ”Who Says Choirs Can’t Rock” concert. He went on to form “ Kids in the Back”, co-producing a musical revue series at Prescott Park Arts Festival in 2005. After attending Chicago College of Performing Arts, Patrick returned to the seacoast and has spent the past several years assembling a group of talented professionals, friends and family to work together to realize his vision.
Patrick Dorow Productions (PDP) was formally incorporated in 2011 and has achieved amazing things in a short period of time. The company has produced original works including: Home for the Holidays and The Upside of Being Down, and sold-out performances of The Rocky Horror Show.
Building a network of multi-talented, well trained professionals has allowed PDP to expand services to include: providing entertainment for private functions and major events, offering an array of educational opportunities, and providing design capabilities .
