PDP is now accepting applications for Performance and Technical Interns for their upcoming season

 

PDP interns will learn the ins and outs of the theatre business by assisting the production team with all aspects of PDP productions.  Hands-on experience and knowledge will be gained along side some of the most experienced professionals in the region.

 

Although both internships will overlap and share some duties, the performance internship will not be as focused on the technical aspects of a theatre productions.   The technical internship will be much more hands-on with set design and building, lighting, sound, and other technical aspects of musical theatre production.  

 

Please note that there are very few slots for interns and that the positions need to be approved by PDP staff upon application. 

 

* Interns are requested to plan to work an average of 4 hours a week.  Intern hours can carry over from week to week; working crew for a PDP show counts as intern hours.   

 

*Performance fee waived for interns performing in PDP shows.

 

*Discounts on private lessons and classes are available to interns.
